Georgian Townhouse Accommodations

The Place Hotel occupies three A-listed Georgian townhouses built between 1800-1804. It offers 48 individually styled rooms including Single Rooms with compact layouts, Cosy Double Rooms with Velux skylight windows, Standard Twin and Double Rooms, Grand & Spacious Rooms with king-size beds, and themed Suites inspired by Scottish writers. All rooms feature flat-screen TVs, premium toiletries, and work desks. The Two-Bedroom Apartment includes a full kitchen, living room, and washing machine.

Scottish Dining Experiences

The hotel serves breakfast with locally sourced Scottish ingredients. The restaurant offers Scottish cuisine and hearty dishes for lunch and dinner, available in the lounge or restaurant. Clarinda's Tearoom serves afternoon tea with sweet treats, sandwiches, and pots of tea. The bar provides Scottish whiskies, premium spirits, and crafted cocktails. Dining options include à la carte menus, pre-theatre dinners, and light bites.

Events and Social Spaces

The hotel features three indoor function spaces and an outdoor terrace with retractable roof. The Baird room accommodates board meetings for 20 or private dining for 30. The Broughton suite has high ceilings for conferences. The Raeburn includes a private bar for celebrations. The terrace hosts summer BBQs and corporate events. Wedding packages are available for 40-60 guests with three-course meals and DJ services.
